Every year in July, The Finley Project® hosts our Gala at the incomparably beautiful Alfond Inn in Winter Park, Florida to help celebrate the everlasting bond of mother and child and to raise much needed support for our seven-part holistic program. This year’s 6th Annual Celebration of Life Gala: LIGHT presented by Oviedo Counseling Clinic honored the birthday of Finley Elizabeth Oblander and the lives of other beautiful babies whose time on this earth was too short.

Each year our Gala focuses on a theme that reminds us to stay positive – from Survive and Thrive to Flourish, from Hope Rising, Restoration to, this year, LIGHT. . . the Gala was a festive commemoration that left guests feeling grateful and uplifted, inspired and joyful. On July 27, our Gala gave spotlight to our mothers’ resiliency and their deep desire to repair, to seek balance and vitality, and to heal; in other words, we celebrated the process of seeing LIGHT in the midst of Darkness!

It is with great joy to announce that due to the generosity of those who support our mission, we raised over $100,000 during the event! We are forever grateful for those who attended and those who donated and made the 6th Annual Celebration of Life Gala: LIGHT presented by Oviedo Counseling Clinic an incredible SUCCESS!!!!
