3rd Annual Finley Project
Spring Picnic

APRIL 11, 2026 | 10am to 2pm

Spring Picnic

Every family who attends is part of The Finley Project community and has experienced the loss of a child. These gatherings are created to foster connection — a space where moms, dads, and siblings can come together, build relationships, and be reminded they are not alone in their grief. It is our largest event of the year and a powerful reflection of our belief that joy and grief can exist side by side.

More ways we support grieving Families

  • For Moms

The Finley Project® is committed to providing care for mothers who have experienced the unimaginable - the loss of an infant. Our devoted team provides a lifeline for mothers in the minutes, hours and days after infant loss through a 7-Part Holistic Program that supports each mother physically, emotionally and spiritually at no financial cost to them.

  • Live Again Retreat

The "Live Again Retreat" in Volusia County targets mothers, couples, and eventually grandparents. It aims to inspire hope and a fresh outlook through experiential activities like biking, fishing, and journaling, offering group support and reflection time.

  • Father's Program

At The Finley Project®, we recognize that fathers often carry their grief quietly. Through intentional support, connection, and shared experiences, we create space for dads to process loss and feel less alone, because healing includes the whole family.

  • Compassionate Care Training

The Finley Project® partners with hospitals and community groups to provide trauma-informed training on supporting families after infant loss. Through practical tools, compassionate language, and real-world guidance, we help professionals feel more confident in navigating these deeply sensitive moments.
